All Star Weekend Schedule and Updates!!

This is gonna be a busy week for me!!
For starters, I’ve been working on something besides music lately…. (reason I haven’t put out a new mix in a while)
I’m starting a brand of T-Shirts call ILLTELLECT. They will make their debut during All-Star Weekend in Dallas, TX. The good people at Centre are hosting a Pop-Up Shop called “The Annx” over the weekend. Besides having some extra fly gear by Crooks And Castles, 10 Deep, Nooka, Fur Face Boy, Play Cloths, Illtellect and more, they are hosting a Skate Competition hosted by Red Bull, A Dunk contest hosted by Picnic and Format Magazine, and The Clipse will be hosting an in-store on Saturday. So if you are in Dallas, come though, peep the line, and hopefully buy a piece or 2. or 3.

On Thursday Evening, Myself along with guest DJ Viz will be hosting out late Happy Hour known as “RE:Session” at Sankofa Restaurant and Bar in Deep Ellum.

On Thursday Night myself along with DJ E-Class out of Atlanta will be DJing Ed Lover’s All-Star Kickoff Party and Celebrity Birthday Bash. Click on the flyer for a link to purchase tickets.

Friday, I plan to attend the All-Star Sneakend at the House of Blues from 3pm-6pm. A must for any sneakerhead for fan of underground gear.

Saturday, Im DJing 2 partys!!
Im DJing the Legendary All-Star party at AM/PM Lounge in Downtown from 1 to 6.
After that, I will be DJing the UPTOWN Magazine/Kenyon Martin All-Star Party At Go Fish in the Dallas Galleria. Hosted by Letoya Luckett.

Freestyle: There’s An App For That…..

To all those who already rap or aspire to be rappers. Don’t use that old school “blackberry” LOL….. Now there’s an iPhone app just for you. Its called Freestyle. The app has a notepad, rhyming dictionary, and some original beats to write/record along with. You can even email your original recordings to your friends or favorite producer. Tanya Morgan was asked to demo the app. Check the video for the results.

Its a pretty chill Saturday morning, I’m looking for vids to finish another Knightvision video mixtape and I ran across this vid.
Im normally not a fan of Auto-tuned joints but this is one of the tastefully done exceptions.
Real simple song done over the classic Ronnie Foster “Mystic Brew” beat.
After seeing this I bought Joy Jones album “Godchild”. Its a good buy! She gets a cosign from me.
